Hey liviu,
folding a strong poker hand is sometimes necessary, especially when an opponent's actions suggest they have a better hand. Key reasons to fold a strong hand include an opponent's aggressive betting that indicates a monster hand (like a set or straight), a board run-out that makes your hand vulnerable, or when the pot odds make calling an unfavorable play.
Daily happens.. After the showdown we often win some folded hands, the hard part is getting them all right... runner runner cards can turn into nuts on the river
You know if I won if the opponent shows you his cards. If I threw strong hands like a ladder on the flop, the villain goes all-in on the flop. My reduction was that I could have a trio and when he doubled, only one more card from the same card would give me a full one. I was playing for money. I had already lost a lot of boxes.
Eu desisti de algumas mãos fortes pensando
Eu estava derrotado - e às vezes eu estava errado! Tenho
Você já desistiu de uma carta vencedora e se arrependeu?
I imagine all players have, I have many times & will do again, no point beating yourself up .. I have caused many players in same tournament to fold what I am sure would have beaten my hand, swings & roundabouts ... thats poker
Yes, I folded a FH once and just last night I folded a rivered 2 pair in an $800 pot. I bluffed flop and turn and gave up on river. I realized as soon as I mucked it.
Folding a winner doesn’t always mean it was a bad fold, though. Without results, some of those folds might still be technically correct — especially if you're playing exploitative vs. certain opponents.
Yes. Not everybody bluffs. Some will bet a weaker hand for value thinking it's the best hand. That's why the game relies so heavily on reading your opponents.
