wpt's crazy freeroll tour series is back and I have to praise them because this time they have fixed the problem of losing connection when there are too many players at the same time. As for other problems, you can experience them yourself because they give out freeroll tickets with quite easy conditions.

I’m really curious what’s the actual purpose of these WPT crazy series freerolls? Where does all this generosity come from? The prize pools are impressive, and they’re giving away tickets left and right. What’s the catch here? :)

actually i have the same question as you, it is very rare if not unheard of to have freeroll prizes of such great value. but it is free so why not give it a try. haha

Unprecedented for the WPT because ACR offered something similar about 2 years ago. Their purpose is to attract more users. On ACR it was a success, and most of the distributed funds end up returning to the room.

Crazy tournament, especially the start. Levels go up super fast.
Overall I’d say pretty average for a first day.

Yes, they came up with very cool tournaments! And it's interesting, and you can win a little bit from a big pie. Yes, ACR held $20k freerolls, but I wasn't playing well back then (it's a shame). I hope I'll be able to catch the prizes here. Good game everyone!

Yes, they have indeed improved performance, the whole platform seems lighter after the recent fix. I had stopped playing there because it'd freeze my other poker rooms, but now the new wave with better flow is attracting me back.

Do you still feel this way about the site?
I logged on there yesterday to do the update, & played a few hands. Logged in now to check the performance (wondering if I want to attempt to play on there while playing on other sites) and just watching one table (CC game) is eating up 50% of my CPU. Doesn't seem any 'lighter' to me... or to my Task Manager.

Yes, although they also drive you crazy. I just lost with a pair of AA against a straight when there were 300 of 20,000 left. It's frustrating to be so close and have them do that to you. Haha, the whole afternoon wasted because I didn't give up.
