Josh Reichard is one of the most accomplished mid-stakes tournament players in the country and he has 17 WSOP Circuit rings to prove it. Heck, he’s even in the Mid-Stakes Poker Tour’s Hall of Fame, and last week, the man from Wisconsin crossed a big lifetime poker achievement off his list at the World Series of Poker when he secured his first bracelet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reichard broke his WSOP bracelet schneid in the $2,500 no-limit event, causing his rail to go absolutely crazy. It was Reichard’s third final table of the summer, and he’s near the top of the WSOP Player of the Year standings thanks to two third-place finishes and nine cashes in 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He’s currently fifth on the list<\/a>, behind Benny Glaser, Josh Arieh, Nick Schulman and Alex Foxen. Less than 400 points separates him from Foxen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reichard’s 17 rings are good for fourth on the all-time list, seven behind Maurice Hawkins who stands on top. Hawkins has yet to win a WSOP bracelet and his most recent miss had to sting after he gave up a big chip lead heads-up in a $600 mixed event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The $2,500 event attracted 1,736 entries who built a prize pool north of $3.8 million. Reichard took $555,198 of that by winning all the chips, which is his third best score. His top cash of $839,300 came by winning the World Poker Tour Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown in 2024, 11 years after winning his first WSOP ring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MSPT and Circuit superstar now has $7.1 million in tournament cashes, according to the Hendon Mob<\/a>, which also says he has 33 wins. He’s won close to $1 million at the 2026 WSOP. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The top six players won six-figures. John Ciccarelli pushed his lifetime tournament winnings over the $1 million mark with the $108,946 he took for sixth. Myles Mullaly is approaching $2 million in tournament winnings with a fifth-place finish that was worth $145,365. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Orson Young put himself in the same neighborhood with the $196,225 for fourth. Spyridon Apartoglou’s $267,938 for third was his largest lifetime cash, and so was Caleb Harris’ $370,037 for his runner-up finish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reichard is playing a full slate of events this year and already cashed in another tournament after his historic win. He has a real chance to capture the WSOP Player of the Year award, but all three players who manage to finish in the top three win a $100,000 package to WSOP Paradise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The top 100 players will win at least a $2,500 ticket to WSOP Circuit events, with the top 15 winning at least a $30,000 Main Event package. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
