Sick! Def a great opportunity, especially if it will result in further promotions and huge salary jumps. Sucks you gotta give up poker for awhile, but maybe you can find time for a few big tourneys every once in awhile.

Yeah that's the thing I wanna make sure it will be good for my future it probably wouldn't be +ev (taking my time into account) if my plan was to stay at my current job forever but if it's a stepping stone to a more comp-sci based career the masters could be pretty huge I think. Just want to get a better idea of what's out there before I invest that kind of time plus it'll still be a decent bit of money since it's taxed. Also I'm kinda liking the go home and be done with shit **** homework life lol. Also it's not gonna kill my free time too much since currently I spend 2-3 hours driving to and from work every day and starting in June I'll be moving closer.

What's the rake like at your American/European casinos like? Had a go at a game of 2/3NL the other day and it was 10% of the pot capped at $10 plus a $5 time charge every hour. Seemed pretty excessive but I've never played elsewhere so IDK...

What sites do all the fish hang out at these days? Been messing around on Stars but they seem few and far between, Played some on Full Tilt and they seem to be pretty fishy there. Though there are generally only 1 or 2 tables of 25NL running...

Yeah average rake in the US I think tends to be around $15-20/hr per person at all levels (1/2-2/5 usually rake 5/10+ usually time but they tend to be the same in $/hr I think) but if it's smaller pots and/or less flops it's gonna be less in raked games.
