Cali weather has been off the hook bad with torrential rains, huge winds, and dumping tons of snow in the mountains. Finally saw some sun today for the first time since I don't know when. The plus side is that by the end of the week we may get to 80 degree temps (but I probably shouldn't have told you that )! Woot! Bring on the good spring weather one time!

I'm in Amador County, which is pretty rural ("Gold Country"). It's about 45 minutes SE of Sacramento. I live in the foothills, but dammit, my town gets no snow, even when it drops down to the lower elevations. I guess the plus side is a) I don't have to deal with snow, and b) I can just drive about 20-30 minutes up the hill, get my fix, and leave.

I live in the Pasadena area if you have heard of it? It's the city with the rose parade so quite a few people have heard of it in the US. Its about 20-30min away from LA and about 30-45min away from the coast which makes it nice in the summer
