We all know poker mixes skill and luck.
But do you personally feel that luck evens out over time, or do you think some players run better than others?

Not with low volume play

I've run both over and under EV over the years, so I believe that luck will balance out in the long run.

What are you going to do if someone disrupts your variance by playing out of pocket, ultimately?

Do the best you can with the hand yer dealt.

Consistency, Patience & Discipline balance out everything in the long run, not just Luck!

About10Years ago I won freeroll ticket playing all in , after that won the second, third and finally on a table for Vegas package -100500$. 550$ ticket entrance, was beaten with pocket hand JJ by 88. 100 packages for 3000 players, Luck is temporary.

Most people believe they are unlucky compared with most others. These folks also have a tendency to believe their own b.s.

In poker, luck plays a big role in the short term. A beginner can win a few hands simply by catching the right cards.
Over the long run, however, skill and strategy tend to outweigh luck.
Consistent decision-making and discipline usually determine who comes out ahead.
So while luck never disappears, it evens out, and the stronger player is more likely to profit in the end.

In the long term importance of luck decreses, What really matters is skill. But short time luck is important as it keeps poor players stay at a table
