What’s one “standard” poker rule you stopped following — and why?

I stopped auto c-betting every flop. Now I pick spots more carefully, and it saved me a lot of chips.

I did the same thing as you, I stopped this automatic bet

Surely you've all been in this situation: you're playing your next poker session, trying your hardest to play your best, but the green line on your tracker is inexorably sliding downwards. Your opponents are holding everything: flushes, trips, gutshots on the river. And you can't win a single hand. The situation seems hopeless, and you're sick of these constant losses and poker in general!That's why I don't follow any rules.

3-betting preflop with AK. It's a tricky hand - if someone shoves calling is very often a coinflip. I'd rather see a flop with such a hand and 3-bet with weaker hands which are easier to fold to a shove.
