I trust my observation of the players, their patterns and cards they have moved it and my risk management. I trust my skill knowing that I am able to make it to the final table 1 out of 10 tournaments (since luck obviously is a big factor in poker). I trust God and I trust in the hearts of the cards like Yugi's grandfather taught him to. When you need an Ace on the river, believe, close your eyes and it will come.

Highly recommend you to visit the cardschat 30 days beginners course if you are really interested in improving our game. Believing in god and certain river cards is cute but not enough if you want to win in the long.

Good luck 👍

In difficult moments (downswings, mistakes, pressure), I tend to rely more on internal processes
(knowing when to stop, understanding that playing well ≠ always winning, accepting that variance is inevitable, respecting bankroll management, not changing my style out of frustration, and using meditation or mental habits) rather than on immediate results.

I rely primarily on experience. In most cases, it helps me make the right decision. I try not to rely on intuition, although I do take this feeling into account, extra signals are never superfluous :)

In tough spots, I trust logic and ranges more than feelings. Emotions are usually loud when money is on the line, but they’re rarely accurate. I try to slow down, think about position, bet sizing, and what hands actually make sense for my opponent.
Experience still matters. If I’ve seen a spot hundreds of times, I’ll trust that pattern recognition—but only when it’s supported by the situation. When instinct and logic line up, the decision feels much clearer.
