Variance in poker can be really brutal. An element of luck will play a role in your short-term results. And that's why you'll always have some difficulty, even against bad players.Nobody likes to lose, especially when money is involved. And it's even worse when someone wins unfairly.

In my case it is because sometimes I rush and when I have a good hand I despair of getting the most out of the opponent, in those cases I have to rethink my game because with bad hands and I want to deceive that I have a good hand I think it will be note very obvious, raising the initial stakes too much. I must modify that in my game and not want to win the games from the beginning.

I think the advice I have the hardest time following is “good folds win tournaments”. Many times, by not folding, I run a risk that jeopardizes the perfect tournament I have done before.
In any case, I am very happy and at the same time frustrated, I know that most of the tournaments I lose are due to bad luck, despite that, most of the time, I have a good tournament.

great answer this is number one....Poker is tough one mistake can kill you at any point the only way you lose is to be all in....Yet you need luck to win any tournament....IS no tournament you win without a lucky move imo ever...Meaning you outdraw someone and hold when they could have beat you....is may types of luck...In most tournaments you will need multiple times your read is not up to par that your safe by the deck that comes out...What you want to do is make right reads be patient dont risk when you dont need to and hope you win a couple of races whether ahead or behind etc....IS really wonderful those few times your hit by the deck

I think for some its just an absolute refusal to learn. There are so many free resources available today, but it seems like a lot of players just like to do the same thing over and over again and expect the results to change.

I can be a bit timid sometimes. Usually just from the cards not falling my way when they need to. Although If I was better and played more hands or something and had more chips it would not have all came down the the hand it did. Because i am a bit tight I am usually ahead when cards turn over. So i could say it's all bad luck because i always lose after getting in good. However I would be overlooking all the previous hands and the fact I shouldn't have been all in due to short stack.
