The challenges of the WSOP

The wsop appears to be confronted with new challenges over the last year and poker players are making it pretty clear that some rules may need amending. Whether it's the 'laptop-gate' from last years' WSOP Main Event, or the issue of possible chip dumping in The Millionaire Maker 2025 to the matter earlier this year with Maurice Hawkins.

However, with the most recent event of possible 'chip dumping', the WSOP chose not to award the bracelet and it has been rumored that the players in question have been suspended from WSOP action for life.

My question is, has the WSOP gone too far or not far enough with this latest controversy? I appreciate your responses.

They shouldn't have WPTgold adding in additional prizes to the prizepools (ie. $1 million bonus to 1st; the $30k to bubble of Main). These are actually bad for the game.
