Do You Use Hotkeys?

I don't feel comfortable play without some hotkeys. I mean I always put the ''Fold'' action, it's the most important for me!
What about you? It drives me crazy play many tables and also have to fold by pressing the button. I just hover my mouse pointer on the table and that's it. Am I a weirdo?

I use hotkeys only when I play at a large number of tables, in other cases I try to be more attentive to decision-making.

If I told you how much I lost one time being drunk when I was 19 years old over having "hotkeys" set up close to each other on the keyboard I don't think you would believe me. Compared to the stakes I normally play it was MONTHS of buyins. That was over a decade ago and I'll stick to the trusty mouse any day of the week.

I have made some mistakes in the past too haha
But nothing too costly , lucky me!

We don´t use hotkeys. I think it is better to use the mouse only. I play not more then 6 tables at once.

I tried using "hotkeys" with a gaming mouse. It was not so bad, but unfortunately it is not working with every room. And as I often play simultanous at different room it confuses me too much, when it is working at some windows and at some not. Therefore, I stopped it again and play like usual with pointing and clicking.

Yes I know , I use a free program in order to by pass this problem but I don't know if I am allowed to write it here publicly. I don't advertise it or something but I have found it very helpful so far because I play in many rooms simultaneously! Feel free to PM me if you need any help.

Yeah I use them.

Q = set amount to all-in
A = activate previous table
S = go to fiirst action table
D = activate next table

Ctrl+H = On/Off Hotkeys

I don't use only Hotkeys I use my mouse too but sometimes is more convenient for me to press a Hotkey for a specific action like open fold/fold. I mean it comes down to the personal preference after all.

In the two poker rooms that I play mostly , that's ACR and PS , hotkeys can be assigned and used , soi use them , it is very usefull and practical to me . Especially the fold and check/call buttons , I have assigned them to the same buttons in these two poker rooms . In the past didn't use them , but after some years of playing poker , I got tired everytime to try to see where the fold/call button is on every table , especially when i was multitabling . Now , theu use of hotkeys has made my gameplay eaier , more relaxing .

I can relate with that , especially when you have the notifications beeping when is your time to act haha

. It's so stressful trying to aim the buttons when you multi tabling!

I own it on my mouse and I find it very practical! I love having them because it makes my life a lot easier when I have several tables open. I recommend it to everyone if they have the opportunity to buy it.

I turned off this option. And try to analyze what I m doing in every situation. Less automatical decisions=bigger ev/bb

I didn’t use it at all, I don’t see the need for it, because there is a click and it’s not an action game, everything is very simple there

I use a mouse wheel for a fold, and call/raise I use the buttons on the side of the mouse. I never used hot keys on a keyboard, it's inconvenient for me. But I don't play that many tables, especially nowadays.

I use some hotkeys all of them in the mouse. I tink that the most important one is the fold action too. the other ones you can easily manage. Also i dont play so much screens ( 6 at max) so maybe when i got to play more other hotkeys will be good

Strange that you need fold hotkey

I always fold with mouse click and think its the easyest of all actions.
For me most important is the "set bet amount to all in"

Yes I agree it's the easiest action but I don't know why I have this need. Maybe I find it time consuming aiming for the ''Fold'' button?! When I use hotkeys I only have to hover my mouse pointer somewhere on the table and I fold.
I open raise / 3bet / open jam with the clicks though ha ha.
