I believe that the online poker system needs to flare and confiscate all funds from those who have been convicted of using third-party software or bots, and to use the confiscated funds for prize money for freeroll tournaments =)

Hard to say sometimes if the bots are better to play against than real aggressive players. At least the bots have a set way of playing, you can beat them. Players shoving with crap continuously are very frustrating.

Wouldn't it be better served instead if they returned funds to players who lost money to the BOTS? ... instead of giving it to freetrollers
fwiw, they have been returning funds to players who have lost money to BOTS

My opinion

You know when you think about it. If they good enough to program a computer to play poker and get on a site. Maybe you should keep the little guys. Really your not suppose to win in on-line poker. Your only suppose to win the vacations. Sometimes you need spending money. They let you cash if you won the vacation. You really make your stand when you win a vacation and do well in live poker.

I agree that they must return funds in such cases, and also give such players special bonuses and tickets for freerolls so as not to lose the loyalty of these and other players.

partypoker also blocks accounts for players who abuse bugs in the system and make deposits only for promotional offers.

Why would they ever block a player for depositing for the deposit promo offers? This doesn't make any sense to me. fwiw, I deposit almost every single time I see a deposit promo offer and fwiw, those are the only times I am depositing (the rest of the time I'm playing within BRM).

There must be some other reason for the accounts being blocked.

It really wouldn't make much sense for a poker site to block someone for depositing to take advantage of their promotions - they are offering the promo's in hopes of more deposits.

I am also, wondering if there was something else happening for blocking an account.

based on history: both (often called: user bots and house bots)
but for the partypoker reported bots: safely asume only user bots are reported

I just doubt bots can earn money in the long run, especially at high stakes.They are just not that good.:cool:

Maybe it's because he's no longer able to use a bot while playing there? Who knows:confused: There's some strange responses in this thread. I'm thinking it must be a language thing.

Stop Bots in Poker

It does make me wonder how many bots are out there. I use betfair Exchange and bots are allowed on the sports Exchange but to be playing a Bot in Poker is just not the same and is just Cheating.

This is how poker rooms should be, your system must be secure so that no bots can leak and if it happens to act fast for the safety of its users, updates are important.

I know it is just a part of it. Cheaters will find ways to cheat. But it is so disheartening to know you can be sitting at a table, get cheated, and can basically do nothing about it. This is a HUGE reason I prefer live games to online. No one can see everyone else's cards and can see the community cards before they come out.

Give them credit for finding them and shutting them down. It will be a on going battle. It may come to the point when we register for a game we will be asked a question. ie. select which pictures and I am not a bot.

Party poker VS bots

Once was party poker a great Poker site whit many players and the WPT , a site like pokerstars was later online but i cant onderstand is why a BIG pkr site like PPoker isnt Safe anymore,each Day it cost PP money but if a hacker can Hack a great Poker Site like PPoker who know for sure that PS dont got hacked by hackers? PS wil never Tell The true,if they do, witin a year or 2, poker'Stars would become broke !
