888 Poker Crashing

Hi -

I have been playing on 888 Poker for a few weeks now but occasionally, if I have any other progammes open (ie. google chrome but could be anything) the whole software crashes. This happens when I start a tournament. It will not load the table and just crash. If I close all other programmes it will work but this is obviously super annoying.

Is there any fix for this? Support were useless, they told me to just close other programmes but anyone that is a PC user will know this is a ridiculous request.

Did you try un-installing and re-downloading/installing it again?

Yeah I did, but it didn't fix. What's frustrating is I can't seem to replicate it easily, it'll happen sometimes when a table opens but not every time.

I did not have such problems, but there were others. I couldn't log in to my mobile App for about two weeks. The support is just terrible. Although 888 is my favourite site, these constant technical problems are really annoying.

What often happens to me is that the client simply closes. This is particularly annoying because, as a German player, I have to wait five minutes if I close the program or it closes spontaneously and I reconnect.
It's especially funny when you see how the blinds are simply posted and you can't do anything.
Especially when you get aces and they just fold.

Try this: go to settings, game display, uncheck Enable Animation and Enable extra visual and animations features. For me it helped a little.

For the last month something has been hanging on and hanging on 888 Poker
some connection issues

888poker is very unstable for me. Like there are weeks that everything works fine and then it starts to have problems, like yours. I usually deleted it and download again, it usually works.

This month, there were a lot of problems with 888. But at the moment, everything seems to be working fine for me. I hope their specialists will do everything possible to avoid such problems in the future.

Of course, no one is immune from technical problems, but to be honest, there are quite a few sites that work more stably and reliably than 888. It is sad because 888 is really very cool and promising and I would like the software to work reliably as well.

888 can be a little unstable generally and very sensitive to the Internet connection

Thanks for replys everyone, I just settled on 888 poker for now as I used to play on PS, just find their freerolls are quite frequent and easy going. I don't particularly want to keep signing up to loads of different sites but if this continues I will probably just withdraw and move.

Yeah the support were unbelievable tbh, took a long time to reply and generic copy paste answers. Funny that they show their software as a selling point.

Just incase anyone is having the same issue, I have changed my monitor set up and this no longer happens to me, I'm not quite sure why, but having dual monitors seemed to be causing the issue.

oh yes, the support in this room is a separate kind of art ((( I fought with them for 4 months, they couldn't pay me in any way... they answered in general phrases all the time... but when I played there, there were often problems with updating, I had to delete the old version, look for a new one, download and reinstall...

At 888 poker, there are 2 bad things, the software and support, and this has been going on for 5 years now and there is no improvement in sight, it is useless to write to them.
