Are 888poker freerolls also slowly ending?

888poker has always been known as the room that offers the most freerolls among all, this has always been the big advertisement for this room, but now it seems that these freerolls are decreasing over time.

Is this just an impression or are 888poker freerolls slowly shrinking?

Is this a trend for all poker rooms, to do away with freerolls?

Yes.

The main purpose of Freerolls is to bring in new players to the sites.

Works great in an expanding market but not in a shrinking one.

110% agree. When freerolls stop bringing in enough deposits from newer players to pay for the freerolls+ make the poker site a profit the freerolls stop being useful and will be ended. poker sites are a business. Businesses are in the business of doing stuff that make them money.

I'm not sure they're ending. It could be a temporary scheduling change during their poker news series.

I agree, and there are less freerolls and the guarantees in those tournaments that are left have become smaller as well. It's sad, but it's a fact. I think this is due to 888 is a leader among all poker rooms in the freerolls. A good analogy: you beat everyone by 1 lap in a race. Will you also be motivated to be faster than the others? I think it makes sense if you go a little slower, because 1st place isn't going anywhere from you. It's the same with the 888. They don't see any competition among other poker rooms. :unsure:

Yes... there is not real value to offering freerolls.

The prizes are decreasing but I think 888 is preparing a new schedule of freerolls to finish 2024 in great style with us!!🙏

I have noticed the decrease in freeroll tournaments at 888, however it is the room that treats its customers best, I hope they do not take the same path as PS, it would be fatal for the community.

Poker rooms tend to offer few or no freerolls nowadays . pokerstars has stopped offering cash freerolls only dome stupid free sats , which are a loss of time .

I hope this is not the case, as ending freerolls will lower the number of players who get into the game of poker. Logically speaking, more and more people are turning 18 and going into the job market - so I would not panic just yet.

It was a big blow for me when Pokerstars ended cash games for my region. I am happy that CC is still on their freeroll list and hope that it continues.
Now 888Poker is the only poker I trust for playing poker from my region. If it ends, then I guess switching to a micro-stakes player is not so bad.

I am still logging into their streams and ticket Giveaways, so all is not lost. They are giving away $109 - $16.5 tickets every day of the week. Hey, that's 3-5 tickets every day. I would worry - at least for now. :D

Unfortunately, the number of freerolls is reduced by 888. Prize money was also cut by about 20 percent. It's sad

Apparently that's the case, I don't understand why they change something that is working wonderfully; the same thing happened with PokerStars. Freerolls are something very important in poker rooms
