I think GGPoker’s 12 Days of Promos is a brilliant idea. It really motivates players to stay active and push a bit harder. For example, I’ve started playing around 300 raked
hands per day at micro stakes instead of just 100 like many others. That’s a huge boost for GG in terms of traffic and rake.
What I’ve noticed is that these promos attract a lot of casual players and “fish,” which definitely increases my chances of winning. The tables feel softer, and that makes the grind much more enjoyable. Of course, in the end, it’s probably a smart move for GG—they get more volume, and players stay engaged. But as long as I’m having fun and picking up some extra rewards along the way, I’m all for it.
