Hi I played in several. Now I'm only in GG and PS. I THINK IT'S BETTER TO PLAY QUIETLY. PS. a lot of Asians play in GG who win unusual hands that only happen in GG

My sentimental favorite is definitely Foxwoods in Ledyard, Connecticut. When I played my first ever tourney just over seven years ago I was also beginning a major change in my life. The players, dealers, managers, and cage people made everything so comfortable and easy for me. I owe them all an awful lot. ❤️

I wouldn't want to waste my time going to one that doesn't have at least 20 poker tables.

And I'd really be looking for one that has mixed games or something other than nlh going on regularly as well.

Someone mentioned Foxwoods,

That's one of the better poker rooms in the US or it used to be.

Its been around for decades and they're known for playing stud variants and tourns.

The only problem with it is its in the middle of nowhere if I remember, correctly lol.

Foxwoods would be on a bucket list of places to visit and also the Bike is another one of those poker rooms where everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime though.

Foxwoods in the middle of nowhere and the Bike isn't hard to get to.

Both of these aren't going to be easy to play as there are a lot of regs and grinders at them though.

In order:
-GG
-WPT
-888 (888 used to be my first)

Why GG 1st? Lot's of tournaments, payment in crypto
Why WPT on 2nd? Payments in crypto and easy field
Why 888 on 3rd? Super fast withdraws (when no error occours) and easy field

That would have been me. :)

They have a good variety of games, including limit hold 'em which I used to play after getting knocked out of tournaments. I believe if I heard correctly that they have 45 tables in their poker room, or maybe more.

They are definitely in a rural setting, but only about ten minutes or so up Route 2 from Interstate 95. It is quite a sight coming around that last turn on Rt 2 and you see those towers rising up out of the trees. :) At one time it was the largest casino in the world. They recently moved the poker room and when I play in it that will have been six different locations I've played in since they opened up about thirty years ago. As I said I have a sentimental attachment to it, but it is definitely a first class operation. :)

Because of the online design of GG Poker, I've only experienced live tables in my city. I haven't yet dared to play live tournaments outside of here.

pokerstars, party poker and GG in no particular order.

I mostly played 888 as a beginner then slowly graduated to the bigger sites with the higher guarantees and larger player pools.

Were you asking about poker sites or actual live poker rooms? I thought you meant actual physical poker, but everyone is answering online sites. Posting in this forum should mean you were asking about live rooms.

Unfortunately, poker at 888 is coming to an end, it's very sad

Hm PokerStrs still number one for me - software wise - but GG is also super good.
