At least in Michigan you can only get your last 200 hand history's. It offers 6 months by the way.
To all you people that die hard say they could not possibly be cheating how much more proof pointing in that direction do you need.
Let's summerize very quickly with out a lot of details.
You can only get your last 200 hands, even though it says you can get many many more at a time.
We the people your average Joe can not through FIOA see the results of there test concerning the RNG.
online poker in the past has been caught red handed.
People that write the code the code for the RNG have to sign a NDC. In other words they are bound by law to not be able to report breaking the law. If they do and it is proven they are still open to litigation.
Give me a few I will be able to offer a few more reasons why it's criminal.

It does not bother me, but posting this kind of stuff is about as helpful as shouting into the wind. Whatever makes you feel better, I guess.

I'm not in Michigan, so can't play on pokerstars, but a quick search yielded some info:
PokerStars MI RNG info:
I asked if RNG info about online poker sites would be a part of government record, particularly PokerStars Michigan - here's the info:

Information regarding the Random Number Generator (RNG) used by online poker sites like PokerStars in Michigan is part of the regulatory oversight conducted by the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB). While detailed technical specifications of the RNG may not be publicly disclosed, the MGCB ensures that all licensed online gaming operators comply with strict standards to guarantee fair play.

Under Michigan's Lawful Internet Gaming Act (2019 PA 152), the MGCB mandates that all internet gaming operators implement RNGs that produce outcomes in a manner that past game events and outcomes cannot predict future outcomes. This requirement is designed to ensure that games are fair and that no player has an undue advantage.

PokerStars Michigan, operating under license number IGSL007434-20-001, is subject to these regulations. The MGCB requires that the RNGs used by operators like PokerStars are tested and certified by independent testing laboratories to ensure compliance with industry standards. These certifications are part of the licensing process and ongoing regulatory compliance.

While the MGCB oversees and ensures the integrity of RNGs, specific details about the RNG algorithms or their certifications are typically not part of the public record to protect the security and integrity of the gaming systems. However, the MGCB provides mechanisms for players to file complaints or report concerns about game fairness, which the board investigates as part of its regulatory duties.

For more detailed information or specific inquiries, you may contact the MGCB directly or visit their official website:

So it looks like you can request this from MGCB.

As for the hand histories - have you tried contacting support? Here is what I found there: https://www.pokerstarsmi.com/help/articles/hh-instant/
It did say that Play Money and Freeroll hand histories are not archived.

I asked ChatGPT how many hand histories you can request. Here's info on that:

PokerStars Michigan allows you to request your hand histories, but there are some limitations depending on the method you choose.

🔹 Instant Hand History (In-Client)
Within the PokerStars client, you can access your recent hand histories:

This feature is accessible via the 'Tools' menu under 'History & Stats' → 'Get Hand History' .Poker Copilot+1PokerStars Learn+1

🔹 Full Hand History Reports
For more extensive records, you can request detailed hand history reports through the PokerStars ChatBot:

  1. Log into your PokerStars account.
  2. Click on the ‘Help’ button and select ‘Contact Us’.
  3. When prompted, type your request into the chatbot console.
  4. Alternatively, select the “Request a Report” button under the “Poker” menu.
  5. Specify the timeframe or tournament ID for which you want the hand histories.
  6. Your report will be emailed to the address associated with your PokerStars account PokerStars Learn.
🔹 Saving Hand Histories Locally
To automatically save your hand histories on your computer:

  1. Go to 'Settings' in the main lobby.
  2. Select 'Playing History' → 'Hand History'.
  3. Check the 'Save My Hand History' box and click 'Apply Changes'.
  4. Hand histories will be saved by default to:
    • Windows: C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\PokerStars\HandHistory\
    • Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/PokerStars/HandHistory/
Note: Saving hand histories is not available on the mobile app .Source: PokerStarsMI[/b

🔹 Recent Policy Update
As of May 2025, PokerStars has implemented a policy change affecting hand history access:Source: RakeRace

    • Players can now only view hand histories for hands in which they were dealt cards.
    • Hands where you were not dealt in (e.g., observing a table without participating) are no longer included in the hand history.Source: RakeRace
This change aims to enhance game security and limit data collection by third-party tools.

In addition to what has already been said, PokerStars allow the use of third party trackers like PokerTracker 4 or Holdem Manager 3. This is, how most serious players collect their hand histories, and many have databases with millions of hands in them.
