Is something unusual happening with the global WPT?

I notice that the room is constantly increasing the buy-in amounts, on the other hand it is decreasing the prize pool amount.

This is reflected in a number of empty tournaments throughout their lobby.

This is so strange; I don't know if they're experiencing some difficulties, but it's quite suggestive.



Many tournaments end up being canceled due to lack of players.

Add to that the slew of freerolls they're giving away daily.
