WPT Global hanging on loading details

WPT Global has been annoying the hell out of me lately. It's not even the heavy resources it uses and difficulty to open the game or lobby. It's the getting stuck loading in the details area of a tournament (to the right of the main list, whenever you select one) i'm playing when i select it in the list (e.g. to open its lobby). It keeps loading and loading and loading, not even selecting something else and going back helps. This way i'm not able to open the lobby or select some other tournament and register because it's simply stuck on the one loading already and never completes. The only thing which helps is closing and reopening the whole software but if i'm in the middle of a table i lose a couple of hands.

Anyone any suggestion on if there's anything i can try or do to circumvent this issue?

I thought that this problem only happened to me, it also happens when I close the App in the middle of the tournament, I've already lost a lot of promising hands.

I’m having the same issue with loading the game and also with disconnection in the middle of the tournament. It’s very frustrating, and sometimes it takes a long time to get back to the table due to the loading.

I have the same problem. Their software is terrible, very heavy, and constantly crashes. I started playing the WPT a little over a month ago and I'm almost quitting. It's been a terrible experience.

I am annoyed by their client too!

They had it so much better at some point for short early this year for awhile but they for some reason they went back to the laggy slow loading style!

I'm having a serious performance issue with the WPT poker client on my new PC. I'm hoping someone has a fix for this, as the temperature is too high for safe grinding. 75°C and 80°C in a brand new Ryzen 5.

Are our devices outdated?

Yeah, that’s a pretty common issue with WPT Global lately — their client is super resource-heavy and prone to freezing on the tournament info panel. They’ve acknowledged some performance issues in recent updates, so hopefully a patch fixes it soon.

It is sometimes a problem for the application to open it

It's at least a lot better than it was, but yes I had the hanging on loading issue in the past. I assume you tried to uninstall and reinstall it, but that seemed to fix it for me. However I still get kicked out to the lobby from tournaments randomly it seems.

Good morning everyone, the software is heavy to run on older PCs and laptops.

I managed to partially resolve the crashing issues in MTTs with few players. I lowered the screen resolution on my Core i3 4005U laptop. Now I can play Cardschat MTTs. Before, the site would crash and close itself.

Now I can play the WPT and two other sites (888poker and partypoker) on a maximum of 3 screens. Switching to 4 screens causes the system to crash.

Now, when I try to play those 10,000 or 100,000 GTD freerolls, when there are more than 3,000 players, even on a WPT screen, it starts to crash a lot.

The site could use an update to a much lighter version; it's difficult.

Unfortunately, it doesn't, just closing and opening it again, as I play few screens there, it doesn't bother me that much, but when you need the lobby information it's really bad!!

I play WPT from my phone, is the only way I can play there since my computer is quite a bit old and can't handle it. And even using my phone, while in the middle of a hand, from time to time, it closes the tournament and sends me to the lobby.
