Does your stress level rise when the bubble is about to burst in a tournament?

Not stress, just anxiety if I am in the bubble & have already been playing for a couple of hours.

Bubble Boy! is a badge I hate but sometimes you have to "Suck it up" It happens to us all at some point, but the feeling of relief when the Bubble bursts and you are in the money is well worth it, Then there is only 2 ways to go.

Everyone experiences this situation.
I don't get nervous anymore, I just laugh when site gives me a good 23 as a final hand.
Of course, one is disappointed when the invested work goes to waste and success depends only on a hair's breadth, but unfortunately that's the way it is, there's nothing to be done.

I think if you've been playing for a very long time, this feeling goes somewhere but before that feeling of winning prizes was very stressful for me and I always felt right away at any limits that feeling like it's gone somewhere so I think you should go away with this money experience too

For me it depends on how many chips I have and how high the blinds are, for example: it always happens to me that I'm a little nervous or anxious, especially if the blinds are very high and I have few chips, but if I have a lot of chips and I'm in good position of the rank nothing happens I am relaxed and calm, I just wait for the bubble to finish and that's it

If you don't have a lot of chips on the bubble, then you have to fold quite playable hands, so yes, this can be called a little stress.

It's in the bubble that the son cries and the mother doesn't see, those tempting hands still come with me, the devil is watching.

Yeah, but i tey not to think about it. I end up not playing any hand except the BB onless someone raises me there as well and then I just fold. Many times I have folded in that situation to garantee getting in the money. After all who hasn't had Aces cracked by 7 2 off suite.

it depends on the tournament. if its a freeroll or a low buy in tournament i wont be having as much stress as if im playing a higher buy in tournament. also your chipstack is another factor to consider because if you have a big stack you will be more calm than if you have an average stack or a small stack near the bubble. also the amount of hours you have spent playing the tournament also matters because its not the same to bubble on a hyper turbo tournament which you spent less than an hour playing than a slow tournament which you spent many hours playing it without cashing.

In tournaments, which are not cheap for me, it certainly increases, and I think that sometimes it adds luck. And in microtournaments and freerolls, the bubble is of little importance to me.

I dont like the logic "the bubble is sooo profitable spot" - ya, while much players fold and not play - BUT the Bubble is at the same time the riskiest spot because you get nothing for the time you have played. and we all know 32off can win against AA. So, dont be silly and ride the Bubble on the edge of your Value.

My logic is simple. JUST PLAY MAXIMAL VALUE. Becaise in every Turnament you just need 3 double ups to get on the top. just 3 hands. so why playin risky cards they makes your opponent richer? PLAY JUST MAXIMAL VALUE and dont be affraid to fold good hands like KK or AA in bad spots.

Further up the Ladder or Out of the game.

I can't speak for everyone, but I think that most of us get stressed especially when we have few chips and I think it's normal to get stressed or feel nervous being in that position, but also if we have a lot of chips and we're not at risk we can wait very calmly, in In my case, what stresses me out the most is when I have few chips and they are very intense at my table, although many times I just try to relax and not pay too much attention to avoid making mistakes.
