Hi everyone! šŸ‘‹
I’ve noticed that poker isn’t just about what happens at the table — it’s also about how we approach life every day. There are simple daily habits that can directly or indirectly make us better poker players.

For example:

Regular exercise helps with focus and stamina.

Reading or solving puzzles sharpens the mind and attention to detail.

Good sleep and a healthy routine make our play more consistent.

Even small things like avoiding your phone during meals can train self-discipline.

I’m curious — what kind of everyday habits do you have that help you stay sharp and improve your poker game? šŸŽÆ

I’ve found that the habits that make me a better poker player are the same ones that make me better in life overall.

For me, regular exercise (especially running) helps clear my head and keeps me focused longer during sessions. I also try to get consistent sleep because it makes decision making feel sharper.

Another small one that has made a big difference is mindfulness. Just a few minutes of breathing or reflection each day helps me stay calm through tough beats or long downswings.

My healthy habit is to be available to my wife in the morning.
That way, I can play normally in the afternoon and evening. :D

...habits that help me evolve in poker are being critical of my decisions during a tournament and fulfilling my obligations during the day very well...

Greetings babyrosejr,

habits for a quality life (Poker) include prioritizing physical health with a balanced diet, regular exercise, and adequate sleep; nurturing mental and emotional well-being through practices like mindfulness, gratitude, and self-care; fostering strong social connections with loved ones; and pursuing personal growth by learning new things, engaging in hobbies, and setting meaningful goals. Try to gain every edge you can get and you will find piece in the longrun.

Hopefully i could help,
Natox
