How Do You Handle Tilt During a Session?

Lately I’ve been working hard on controlling tilt during tough sessions. Sometimes after a bad beat or a few coolers in a row, I can feel my emotions start to take over — and I know that’s when the real danger begins.


I’ve been trying short breaks, deep breaths, and even switching to hand reviews instead of continuing to play.


What about you? How do you deal with tilt when it hits?

I try not to think too much about the hand I just lost and I try to gain confidence again by playing only the hands where the button touches me or when I have good cards of course, that way I gain confidence again, playing angry is not good, Regards

I know the feeling, tilt can creep in fast after a few bad beats. I usually take a short break, walk around, or review hands once I’ve cooled down. Setting a stop-loss for the day helps too. Good on you for working on it!

When I start to feel tilted during a session, I usually take a short break - stand up, stretch, or step away from the screen for a few minutes. I also remind myself that poker is a long-term game and bad beats happen to everyone. Staying calm and focusing on good decisions instead of emotions helps me get back on track.

В последнее время я усиленно работаю над тем, чтобы контролировать тильт во время сложных сессий. Иногда после неудачного удара или нескольких кулеров подряд я чувствую, что эмоции берут верх — и понимаю, что именно тогда начинается настоящая опасность.


Я пробовал делать короткие перерывы, глубокие вдохи и даже переключался на повторение движений руками вместо того, чтобы продолжать играть.


А как вы справляетесь с тильтом, когда он случается?
Take a break and have fun, relax deeply, switch to a more conservative style of play or even lower limits
