Some players have lucky charms, seats, or routines before playing. Do you believe in any poker superstitions?

Personally, I don't believe in superstitions, I don't perform any rituals, I don't have any talismans, and it's unlikely that they will help me win.

I used to have this weird superstition about red chips. For some reason, whenever I had a stack of reds in front of me, I felt like I ran better. Didn’t matter if I was up or down if the stack was heavy on reds, I just believed the cards would fall my way. Once, I even traded green chips with a guy next to me just so I could keep my red pile going. Looking back, it was completely ridiculous the cards don’t care what color your chips are but in the moment, it gave me this weird confidence. Funny thing is, confidence actually does matter in poker, so maybe it wasn’t so crazy after all.

No real superstitions, but I tend to wear the same shirt I last won with, and use the last winning card protector (I have 3, including my Cardschat card protector).

I don’t really believe in poker superstitions, but I get why some players do. Having a lucky charm or a small routine can make you feel calmer and more focused, even if it doesn’t actually change the cards. For me, I just try to keep a simple routine like reviewing hands or taking a short break before playing—it helps me get in the right mindset without relying on luck.

I believed a lot in horoscopes, but the horoscope didn't believe in me. 80% of the days weren't good days to gamble. 19% were reasonably likely, and 1% were super lucky days.
I stopped believing.

I don’t really believe in superstitions, but I do have small routines before playing to stay focused. For me it’s more about mindset than luck.

Ask for the outs of the villain in my mind, when I want my cards never come, so, I call for the villain outs
