The reason why poker keeps me is the dream. This is probably stronger than any excuses or other reasons.I would venture to suggest that the dream keeps the vast majority of players in poker. There are not so many of those who earn money at NL25+ limits and play solely for the money. I have always wondered how anyone could play poker with only one goal – to earn money and “go to bed”. I know that there are such people. There are those for whom poker is nothing more than a “printing press”, but I don’t understand that.
