I’ve been thinking a lot about what actually makes a winner at the micro and low stakes. We all study charts and pot odds, but I feel like the player who can simply fold for two hours without tilting usually ends up with the chips.

Being patient is super important in poker. It has changed the way I play for sure. I used to not be patient and would push situations to make things happen and next thing you know I’m out wondering what went wrong, how unlucky I was, get all mad lol But through study and more and more experience now I’m super patient. When I’m not in the hand I’ll pay attention to what my opponents do and what hands they are opening, raising, calling with etc so we can use this against them later.
