Sometimes poker feels unfair.
You do everything right: good hand, good spot, good decision — and still lose.
But the longer I play, the more I understand one thing:
Poker doesn’t reward one correct decision.
It rewards the habit of making correct decisions.
Today you lose. Tomorrow you lose again.
And one day — it suddenly starts paying back.
That’s the part you have to survive.

Well said. Absolutely correct.

I think a lot of players fail to realise this and want to blame cheats, bots, rigged RNGs, etc., but in reality it's just variance and probability.

This is why being properly bankrolled / good bankroll management is so important. Many very talented players have gone bust and walked away from the game because they hit a downswing in games they weren't properly rolled for.

I totally agree. Right decisions and good bankroll management are the most important things in poker.
