To loose a bankroll, you have to do several steps wrong, but mainly joining to Tables which you cannot afford in hoping to big win. But if you loose you are gonna burn most of your dollars. In this case you supposed to overview your aims with this game, and of course if you can, get up and try a proper Bankroll management with paitence and taking care.

So if you gambling with poker responsible, you may bleeding out only slow. In this case you only have to work on your game.

Hard to process, but you should always get your consequences. :)

Good luck!

The bank account is not reserved for playing poker, so it never goes to zero

It hasn't happened to me fortunately.

If it did I would assume that one of the following was true:

1) My bankroll management could be improved. Did I need a bigger one to start with/manage buy ins carefully?

2) I was a trying to play at a level that was beyond my skill

3) 1&2 at the same time

What to do next would depend on the exact circumstances. How much spare money I had, what am I willing to potentially lose? Was I previously a winning player and at what level of buy in? Am I just bad and should I quit? Should I just take a break? Do I need to improve with some study instead of playing? (we should always study anyway I feel).

Poker always needs to be analyzed, calculated and felt. If you need a little more time to collect your thoughts, take it for yourself. Your bankroll will thank you.It is better to stop losing when playing poker and think a little, than to regret later about rash actions.

Happens to everyone, from time to time everyone goes bust especially small bankrolls under 150$ , Just learn from your past mistakes and try again to build another bankroll with good management, With trying you will make it and never gets zero bankroll again.

How often do you lose all your bankroll? How do you proceed after that?

Also whenever this happens showing up all kind of different emotions isnt bad idea after all ...

When I first started playing poker for real money, I lost my bankroll several times, it was a maximum of $100-200, I understand that it's a small amount, but still, it was 200 and became 0. I just went to play at higher limits and lost everything in a few hours, I was very angry about it and was nervous all the time. After a while, I would calm down and play freerolls or make a direct deposit and thus increase my bankroll again.

If you need to watch porn to get back into a normal rhythm, you need a doctor.

Play freerolls and start over. If you are playing cash, then there is one advice to go to the limit below.

"Yes, it happens, maybe not to everyone, but there are losses. I have encountered this several times - I count on a leap and therefore have losses. The amounts are small. To build a bankroll, I continue to play freerolls, and on holidays, I downloaded a couple of books, one of which is about building and managing a bankroll. I must say that the book turned out to be interesting - now I have a preliminary plan of action."

I play small stakes. A bankroll is a myth for me. I just take out any winnings. A bankroll or a decent level of cash would be required for more serious players.

When i get to zero, i try to be calm and just understand that i have to review my game in those hands were i could've done better. It takes a bit of discipline to keep going, a lot of patience to know that you're going to get better. And a really LOT of humility to understand that most of the time it was your fault and not just bad luck or a badbeat. Hope this helps!!

If I lost my bankroll on a site I would quit playing there.

If you are utilizing proper bankroll management and you lose your roll then its for 1 of 2 reasons- either your play is not good enough or there is some sort of cheating going on.

Either way there is no reason to continue playing there.

I'm not losing my bankroll just if you understand that you are a gambler and can lose your money quickly, do like me win tournaments and immediately withdraw 90% of the money won, after which you play tournaments with the rest and try to win it didn't work out, then okay you'll know that you've withdrawn your money

Losing your bankroll means at first point you had no good bankroll management.

So the first thing you have to do is to check what was your problem with keeping the proper bankroll management.

If you found out what it was that made you make false bankroll decisions (overconfidence, playing tournaments that kill your bankroll in no time, …)

So if you have money that does not harm you to lose, you can make a new deposit.

The other option is play freerolls to build up a new bankroll.

There is a lot of information about good bankroll management found on CardsChat or on the internet.

Since I don't have to mention (seen by mods as advertise) other poker related sites,

I can only give the advice, "Google" is your friend.

This only happened to me once when I got involved in cash games. I went from 40 dollars to zero just at tables of 0.01/0.02 cents. Then I watched some videos of the pros and one tip stuck: focus on one style of play and only spend 1% of your bank roll per day. From that day on I tried to follow it and it worked. Today I spend between 1% and 3% of my bank roll, counting the freerolls here at CC, which are excellent.

I never lose, I withdraw everything I win from freerolls, I don't venture into other games, that's what poker rooms want you to do, until you break and deposit again.

Tell me how do you withdraw the $5 you won in the card chat freeroll from the pokerstars room? If there are such ways, please write me a personal message. It takes a lot of effort to save your bankroll, because it's always tempting to play a couple of tournaments when you have some money in your bankroll.

Nunca pierdo, retiro todo lo que gano en los freerolls, no me aventuro en otros juegos, eso es lo que las salas de póquer quieren que hagas, hasta que rompas y deposites nuevamente.
I think you have very stingy thinking with all due respect. Assuring that poker rooms want you to play with your money to ruin yourself is silly.. you can play tournaments with your money and win a lot more too.. but you have to have courage and confidence in your game.. playing only the free tournaments limits you. at a fixed schedule every day and only a few tournaments. What if you want to play poker at any other time? Don't you do it to avoid spending a dollar?

I lost my bankroll a few times. Especially at a time when I didn't know how to manage my bankroll. Today it is more common for me to withdraw the funds and start over.
