I don’t think there’s any real secret. Like everything in life, it comes down to routines, discipline, and showing up even when you don’t feel like it. Studying when you’re not motivated, putting in hours when results aren’t coming, and staying consistent with healthy habits all matter.
Consistency in poker is especially hard because progress isn’t always visible. Many times you do everything right and still lose, which can be very discouraging. That’s why so many players quit or become inconsistent. If there is a “secret,” it’s accepting that short term results don’t define you, and continuing to put in volume and study even when it feels pointless. Over the long run, strong discipline and enough hours will make you a better and more consistent player.
