What is the main difference in strategy between tournaments and cash games, and how does this affect my decisions during the game?

The main difference is that in tournaments stack size, ICM, and survival matter a lot, while in cash games every chip has the same value and decisions are based purely on long-term EV. In MTTs you constantly adjust to blinds and payout pressure, while in cash games you focus on solid ranges, discipline, and extracting small edges consistently. This is a topic that can definitely be explained in much more depth.

CASH. Play as much as you want, win consistently, easily refill if things aren't going well, no blind bets like in bingo, you can grab a sandwich whenever you want, and it's more enjoyable to interact with other players.Tournaments are already built into the price for me, the chips have no cash value, so you don't have to worry about your bankroll, you just need to beat the game to get to the final table and end up in the money. You need to play what you enjoy the most, or what you think is the best value for the time you have to spend playing.Playing poker tournaments requires patience and self-discipline. More often than not, you'll bust out of a tournament without winning a dime, but once you reach your first final table or even become the champion, just looking at your poker account balance will reward all your hard work.
