The main difference is that in tournaments stack size, ICM, and survival matter a lot, while in cash games every chip has the same value and decisions are based purely on long-term EV. In MTTs you constantly adjust to blinds and payout pressure, while in cash games you focus on solid ranges, discipline, and extracting small edges consistently.
