What I love about poker is that it takes many aspects of skills to be good at the game. You do need at least some basic math, and you also need to be able to read other people and understand when the "story" they are telling just doesn't make sense. Every game type, and every table you are at, will present different challenges and require different strategies. I think that the ability to adapt, and to learn constantly, is what helps to make a successful player.

And then there are players like me. We use our own skills and rely on our own experience
Intuition is good, but in my case, I need stable results that don't depend on the weather, the season, or my girlfriend's mood
