Forgetting about a running game?

Hey forum,

During the day, when not very busy, I often start playing 1, maybe 2 MTTs on the side from my phone while also doing other stuff. Today, it happened again:
During the break of my MTT, I switched Apps and started doing something else and forgot about my game. 🙊

I returned to it about 20 mins later and ofc lost some blinds. 😅

I'm wondering is it just me or does it happen to some of you as well? 🤔

Sometimes my mind wanders and I start day dreaming. I've even forgotten about a game while sitting at the table. LOL!!

Hello my dear, I have controlled this a lot. However, there are many hours playing, at some point I extend the break, to cover some need.
What happened a few days ago was that after playing all day there was only one table left and I was 4th in chips with about 90 left I think it was 10 or 15 K gts. Summary I lay down on the bed with the notebook and slept and woke up in the morning

I have had to be pulled away from the game I am playing or lost connection and can't play and even had a water pipe break while playing poker but, I can honestly say I have never gotten distracted and forgot I was in the game.

It happens to me too, but not out of forgetfulness, sometimes the railroad calls me in the middle of the tournament, saying they need me urgently, then there's no way, I have to drop everything and run away.

That's why I only play freerolls, at least I don't lose my money.😁

It happens to me all the time when I register for more games than I have screen space for.

I try to prioritize my games so if I miss one its a freeroll.

I usually don't forget I'm playing a tournament if I'm awake, but sometimes I'm so tired and decide to play poker on my laptop in my bed and I fall asleep.

Sometimes I have so many tables running at once that they dont fit on the screen and tables get hidden under other tables,this happens when I by mistake register for to many tables.It is human to make mistakes, I have never met anyone that is perfect.Everyone is a perfect and unique version of themselves.

Протягом дня, коли я не дуже зайнятий, я часто починаю грати в 1, можливо, 2 MTT зі свого телефону, одночасно роблячи інші речі. Сьогодні це повторилось:
Під час перерви в моїй MTT я перемкнув програми і почав робити щось інше, але забув про свою гру. 🙊

Я повернувся до нього приблизно через 20 хвилин і, можливо, втратив кілька блайндів. 😅

Мені цікаво, це тільки я чи це трапляється з деякими з вас? 🤔

if you want to win the game, you need to be attentive at the table and follow the players well, make notes, so I play at most 2 tables

I can say that this happens to me a lot. I register for freerolls in a cardroom and don't play them,
because I just don't have enough time or I'm busy doing something else. Sometimes I can register for some evening tournament for $5 in the morning and forget about it and go have a beer with my friends😂.

I was distracted by the child, we started playing with him and only 30 minutes later I remembered the tournament (

When I play poker, its my main activity. Meaning maybe I do something on the side like writing here or surfing the internet. But not to the point, that I forget, I am playing poker. What has happened though, is, that I have accidentally sat out from a table, because it was hidden behind other tables, and I forget about it. On at least one occation this continued, until I was blinded away and got the message "thank you for playing". And as Collin and Katie said in the 30-day course, thats definitely F-game......

This is what happens when you play on multiple tables!!! I try to play at one, but there have been times when tournaments overlapped and I had to play 2 or even 3 tables. Personally, I don't like it, you lose some part of the game: you don't monitor your opponents so well, you don't have the right bet or call calculation, and much more. I'm not dissuading you, I like it - play, I just think there's more math and counting on starting hands than playing, and I enjoy the process more. Good luck to everyone!

I don't like playing on my smartphone. The game requires attention and concentration, even if it is freeroll, so I prefer to play on my PC with a large monitor. It's hard to forget that you're playing poker when you're sitting directly at the computer

I have had that problem, too. But there was another problem at my favorite site ps: I was not allowed to play for 5 minutes after coming back, if I closed the App more than 1 Minute or so. Because of thatbI now play real money in the break. Both problems are sollen at this way

Someone calls then I go to another app and completely forget about the game 🤣

If you have to stack tables on top of other tables I think its best to stack freerolls over freerolls so you dont time out or forget buyin games.
