What do you thing more rake is better??

more rake is not better because it's just means you need to pay more and win less, who wants that

The whole idea that "more rake is better" is that players who put in a lot of volume will stay away from rooms that charge a high rake.

The idea is that people who know (and care) about high rake will play elsewhere and therefore a "high rake" room will have fewer professionals and good players.

So "more rake" should create a poker room with fewer good players.

Pay more rake but win more hands....sounds good to me.

Its Daniel Negreanu, who made such a statement, when he was working for pokerstars, and they took some heat from players for multible rake increases. And honestly its just a pile of BS. Unless you are the owner of the site, of course you want to play as cheaply as possible. It might be true, that high rake will chase away some of the good players. But this is because, the games essentially become unbeatable, and why would anyone want to play in games, that are unbeatable? This makes no sense, even if you are mostly playing for fun.

More rake is good for casino but for you it is really bad because your win is getting lower because of that.One of the casinos in my country have rake 5% and that is too big for poker and also their welcome bonuses are terrible,this poker sites which I can find via this forum are 100x better.

Of course, more rake is worse per se. However, the level at sites with the lowest rake (e.g. Pokerstars) is sometimes significantly higher, so it can make sense for your winrate to play on sites that collect a little more rake.
