Open AI is developing very quickly and I am sure that it will appear in poker soon. If it is not yet used for this, what do you think poker will be like in the future?

I'm calm about that, because I believe that reputable sites will not allow cheating, considering that they always have a lot to lose if they no longer have credibility.

The Chance that AI is already being used in Poker is very high, and it has already been done in the past.
Also its not very easy to detect that because, if you are good at what you are doing ( programming )
its not to hard to hide from Detection Measures. I could give an explanation and write details here, but
that might give some Ideas to some people.

Honestly, I think AI has already been used in online poker for a while now — it's just not always obvious. Technology is advancing fast, and there have already been cases where bots beat pros in heads-up matches. Detecting them isn’t easy, especially if they’re programmed to mimic real players. Still, if you keep improving your game, adapt, and avoid playing in a predictable way, you can definitely compete even against AI.

Bots have been beating everything up to 400NL since 2014, and in some cases, the population even earlier.

Wake up, people. Online is dead over 100NLH Cash and MTTs over ca 250 dollars buy-in.

It doesn't help that the few expert pro players who still play high stakes online either are bumhunting, colluding, or using RTA (and other digital help to play).

Live Cash is the last chance to earn real money in poker.

If you want to play for fun (or pocket money) online, that is all fine.

But if anyone constantly earns more than 50k per year from just poker online here on the forum, I would be very, very surprised.

I think AI will make poker better and safer. I hope that thanks to new technologies, there will be less fraud of various kinds and online games will become safer

AI has already had a huge impact on poker behind the scenes (think solvers, GTO trainers, HUD analytics), but the next stage will probably reshape how people study and even play the game. Here’s how I see it evolving:

MTT's over $250 are dead? Tell us you have no clue about today's online MTT poker scene while trying to pretend you do.
If you want to play for fun (or pocket money) online, that is all fine.
Why can't they play for more money than 'pocket money'? Why can't they try to play for competition &/or a dream? (why does it have to only be 'for fun'?) And you approve if they only want to play for fun??????? Why would you care if they had other aspirations with online poker... is it because you don't? (can't?)
But if anyone constantly earns more than 50k per year from just poker online here on the forum, I would be very, very surprised.
No shit Sherlock. This is 99% a freeroller forum in 2025, &/or recreational players. If you haven't noticed, even the micro/low stakes grinders move on from here rather quickly.
fwiw, there are lots of players out there making $50k+/yr. still. You just don't know any because you're out of touch with today's online tournament poker scene.

Yeah, AI is already changing the game in many areas. I think in poker it’ll push players to study deeper and play more balanced, humans will need to adapt fast.

Hi!! Why is this question bothering you so much??? Are you unsure of your abilities, or are you afraid that bots will play poker in the global sense?? There are bots "designed" for the game, and they are used as trainers. There is already an announcement (in the general news thread) that there will be a tournament among bots that have a good understanding of poker and game strategy purely from the network. I have been hearing a lot of these conversations about bots: some say they are used for profit, claiming they play better; others say sites use them to maintain competition and create inconveniences for people, preventing them from winning... countless opinions - but think: what fears lie behind this??? Why have discussions about these "conspiracy theories"? Do you play with people a lot and often win???

This video explains everything you need to know about online poker. The only way to succeed is to maximize your wins and minimize your losses, meaning that sometimes you have to fold "good" hands ( I call this "winning by not loosing so much" )
I won 3rd place in a tournament with 7500 players, and in 12 hours I never went all in ! I folded KK preflop on the bubble, I folded set of 3s , on the flop, because there we're 3 diamonds, and other tricky hands...
My brain was fried after.....

The true game remains the Live Poker !
