The plays are so different from what I've thought lol.
He's so fxxking good with the bluffs, thinking about the hand ranges, mostly dead accurate, he can even represent one, knows when to gamble
knows when to check, check-raise for more value - when betting doesn't give you the value anyway when the opponent is very likely to fold, and you have a strong hand - makes OP want to bluff against you since OP wouldn't want to go to showdown.
It's just amazing.

Didn't he play in the recent live tournament? He showed up in the final table but I don't know exactly when the tournament was held. The youtube video was about 8 months ago.

Daniel has always amazed me. His reads are unbelievable and he is playing at a high level for decades now. And he is a fun guy to watch and to listen.

He's been actively playing as a professional player since the 90s lol what do you expect and he's not even the best of the best especially when it comes to NL Holdem tournament today.

This guy learned the basics back in the 90s like how to play the game and has kept learning how to beat people ever since. He knew how to play Tens or the answers to any of the questions beginners ask many, many years ago and is still working on his game.

Most will look at what he does and be amazed but that's how a pro looks a hands and plays tourns, lol.

What most of you should be doing is saying that's what you're up against playing major tourns like at the wsop instead of dreaming of winning a major tournament or some crazy high stakes cash game like you see on TV or streaming.

There are a lot easier ways to make money without all the stress, education and time required to learn poker. Get rich quick stuff doesn't work.

I once saw a video of Daniel comparing playing poker to boxing! I found the analogy he made very interesting:
Pre-flop you attack opponents' stacks, post-flop you defend your stack.

I have also seen him play online and I too was surprised that he plays very differently than I am used to from his life tournaments.
He is just a human being and also has regular suckouts in online poker. Funny I find his little freakouts, which you do not necessarily experience in the same way with him in live poker.
I can't say if he plays very differently now than in live poker but for me he seemed much more relaxed online. No idea why I have such an impression.
