So why does that mean

Are they just not letting users for the country play on the servers. Is there a particular reason for this?

After they left Serbian market in September 2019, they sent new notice same as Yours
"Hi Zoran, Regrettably, partypoker will soon stop operating in your country...."
...strange business strategy to leave a larger number of markets, but that is their own business...

Well, I don't know the reasons yet, but there are strong rumors that pokerstars will also do it next year.

Party Pulled out of Panama August 2020

PartyPoker confirmed it through emails to all users From Venezuela

  • From 12/01/2020 you will not be able to make deposits with us.

In August 2020 I got the infamous email from Party entitled "All Good Things Must Come to an End"

They gave me 2 days notice that my account would be suspended indefinitely.

This was while I was playing a 3 day tournament. I didnt make it to day 3 but I have no doubt that no one realized or even cared that I would not be able to finish the tournament had I made it to day 3.

They took days to respond to my requests to cash out my tournament tickets won. No refunds were given for any of the $250 in tickets spent in this 3 day tournament which I could never win because I would be locked out of the poker room on the start of day 3. And yes I did check and I was locked out of the poker room like clockwork when the email said I would be.

They were clueless when I complained and just quoted their policy against converting tickets into cash.

I eventually got a hold of someone to look into it, but it was like pulling teeth. They converted my 1 remaining $125 tournament entry into cash but not before trying to convince me I had to play it.

Then to finally get them to initiate a wire transfer took another 45 days. They already had my documents. I still had to submit multiple times before it took or anyone even acknowledged me.

It was not a pleasant experience nor easy.

From what I could ascertain, Party decided not to renew their gaming license in Panama. I am certain this wasnt a last minute decision on their part. This showed me how much they actually care about their players.

I highly recommend people look elsewhere when choosing a site to play.

Not sure why they would be pulling out of certain countries. Is it for political or financial reasons? Does anyone know?

Good afternoon. If that´s true,it will be definitely bad news for Venezuelan players. Most of them, thanks to poker, can help their families to deal with the bad financial situation in that country.

Wow at least you got notice with details and a chance to prepare. All I got was your account will be closed in 2 days and you will unable to play.

It didnt matter to them that I had already begun a 3 day long $125 tournament, AND they notified me after it began so there would be no way I would have been able to finish the tournament.

So had I made it to day 3 I would have just been blinded off to nothing. I was just told there is nothing we can do, so sorry.

It can be both. Many countries have not legalized online gambling and are taking measures to crack down on sites still operating. This really kicked off with Black Friday in the US back in 2011. And of course if a market is not deemed profitable, then a company might also decide to leave.

That sucks. But at least this time they are giving players almost 3 weeks advance notification, which should be enough for a nice and orderly exit :)

Terrible news, let's hope that the other poker rooms continue to operate in our country. This is a way to help with the terrible economic situation we are experiencing
