Pokerstars - Throwables and Emotes Gone?

Did Stars get rid of the throwables and emotes?
Are they just swapping them out for Xmas or did I get a timeout for spamming them?

It seems they haven't invested much resources in developing the graphics and interaction within the App. Compared to other poker Apps, their current designs are quite ugly and unappealing.
