Mets new GM is Sandy Alderson

I was pretty happy with the whole GM process for the Mets. Usually they find a way to even screw the little things up, but this time it went well...hopefully a foreshadowing of good things to come.

Alderson is a really good choice, but the important decision is the one that's gonna be in charge of making Alderson's decision look good and that's the new manager!!!

The Mets have been a mess for a while - they should be doing what the Phillies have been doing, with the resources and fan base they have. Maybe 2011?

I love bobby v, but i don't think he's ever going to coach the mets again.

I like the idea of giving Wally Blackman a chance, anyone who is a high energy guy that knows how to handle the lineup/bullpen is a good start (Manuel was so clueless at times). Like who the heck would ever justify batting Jose Reyes 3rd? C'mon!
