Ok, so I'm sitting at a Pstars $3rebuy tourny which is a sat. into sundays tourny. 735 players, and top 34 get a seat, 35th gets like $60bucks.
So...I'm at about 40th place with around 90 people left, with 43,000 in chips and blinds are at 1500/3000 +ante. Avg. chip stack is about 49,000. I'm in the BB and get dealt JJ. 2nd guy to act calls the 3000, everyone folds around to the blinds, and small blind goes allin for total of 14,500. I call right away with my Jacks (another 11,500), and the previous caller goes allin for his 90,000.
Sooo....I had 14,500 in the pot, and 28,500 in front of me. The pot had been raised and reraised, and I guessed I was probably beat by one or the other, so I got out.
It was the right play....(at the time). Small blind has 88, so that was a good call on my part, and the reraiser had KK, so that was a good fold on my part.
Board comes J 3 4 7 7.........So he won with his KK, and I just got angry with myself. I mean...if it had been a cash game, I couldve made the call because there was so much out there already, but since it was a tourny, I just wanted to stay alive and wait for a better hand.
I'm just wondering if I made the right move or not, I don't play too many multi tournys, so I'm not sure if I shouldve called and took my chances.

By the way, I ended up in 63rd place out of 735, so no money or seat.:eviltongu
And that was after 3.5 hrs of play, lol. Oh well, at least I only had one rebuy and add-on. Maybe next time.

Pocket Jacks are a dangerous hand to call, particularly if the raise is very large. It was a good fold even though you would have won. Beware of the Jacks!

you gotta be wary of the jacks even if the re raiser had A/k you prob were just a slight favorite, you were right to fold in that you were close to a seat.don,t tear yourself up with those plays.
