Late reg may be a valid strategy for satellite tournaments, but for serious tournament poker play there is more than shoving any AX into a preflop opener.

So learn to play, not only to shove any Ace rag into preflop openers.
Poker tournaments are more than luck in preflop shoves, you need to have a deeper understanding of the tournament structure, plays at what stack level, and much more.
Try to get some insight in good poker content on YouTube, from trustworthy sources, that try to give some basic understanding of tournament poker.

Also, try to take the free course on CardsChat. Winning Pokerplayer in 30 days.
This gives basic insight and a good foundation, from where you can further advance in the poker learning marthon.

For poker as for most things in life a lot of training, study, time, effort (blood, sweat, and tears) is needed.

Just keep playing...reading poker books, watching Youtube and other video feeds can supply basic knowledge...taking that knowledge and applying it in real game action will help it stay in "Muscle memory"...experience is necessary to validate and retain that knowledge.

You have to do an in-depth look at hands played to know what is going on. You want to look at all hands played not just certain hands. paying for a poker hand tracker is worth the money.

Sounds like a bingo problem, not being lucky when it comes to winning flips and not playing enough volume to overcome playing bingo. Late reg. is great for making your ITM% look good but not great for making a long term profit because just making the money barely makes your money back from the MTT. This way of playing makes MTT variance even worse than it already is which MTT variance can and is already beyond terrible.

For example of how terrible I'm 20+ year winning player and there have been times I've gone longer then a year without a win or even making the final table and even the best MTT players in the world can have a streak that bad. Just something to think about. As a rec/hobby player I play cash during the week and longer blind level(10+ min) MTT's on the weekend to help smooth out the variance. Usually I make enough playing cash and then a bit more during week to afford my weekend MTT's buy-ins. That way my bankroll is always growing a bit whether I cash in MTT's or not. Some weeks a lose a bit of ground but make it up the following week.

You need to study, register on time and learn how to actually play poker and build a stack so you can run deep without having to win a lot of flips. Basically everything Goggelheimer said above 110%.

Cheers!!!

If you do late reg, stack up as much as you can (double rebuy+addon).

You should focus on your game, don't tilt at stupid players, just take value from strong hands and be patient, you will easily reach rank 1.

You need to play more, and if you do the right things, the variance will bring you back to the final table

You got some good tips, I would add study reviewing the hands and how You played, are you raising enough, how about check raise?
Are you getting at ITM frequently?
see You and GL.

Just focus on study and practise. Then secondary goals like “reaching my first final table” will eventually take care of themselfes. You can also make it easier for yourself by playing in smaller fields.

Late reg means you’re starting short and with less room to maneuver, so variance hits harder. The key is to tighten up early, avoid marginal spots, and look for good shove/call situations instead of trying to force chips. Don’t chase every pot — pick spots where you’ve got fold equity or solid equity when called. Build patiently, and once you’ve got a playable stack, open up a bit.

In order to get to bubble; when game gets expensive, don't be afraid to take risks. Bubbleish stage is difficult, I have to admit I have some trouble trying to be aggressive in the bubble. But it is a good situation to take advantage of other people's weaknesses. If that is not your preference, then just play extremely strict. Just don't do something in between I would say. Anyway, it will get be easier once you reach it the first time!

Stop coming in late registration, my opinion. You will always be the underdog in that situation, with less chips than the average

In my opinion, late reg forces aggressive play and does not give you space to see the flop many times. Basically, you are in an all in or fold. Even if you call for see the flop, it usually costs you a lot of chips, and it is not always certain that the flop will suit you. So if you are not an experienced player, try playing in tournaments from the start. Than you have much time and opportinities to build your stack whan the blinds are small vs your stack. On the small blinds, you have more opportunities to call and see the flop.

So if you get there by late registration, maybe you weren't able to build a big enough stack to assert yourself on the final table?

To feel comfortable and get to the final table, you need to monitor the ratio of your stack to the standings and other tables. You can make mistakes and still remain among the best if you don't risk a large part of the stack when the situation is not right.

In my oppinion. You can not teach someone to be lucky. Poker is 90% of luck. You can not get final table just by waiting for good cards. You just have to take a risk and hope for good flop.

Sziasztok mindenkinek!
Tudnál segíteni? Általában késői regisztrációval jutok oda, de aztán valamiért mindig elakadok.... van valakinek tippje? Szeretném áttörni ezt az akadályt és eljutni az első döntő asztalomhoz?:)
If you train yourself a lot and develop your own style of play, then late registration will no longer be the goal, but by the time late registration ends, you will be able to play your game with the right amount of stacks and build your stack ☺️

If you truly enjoy poker, you must keep playing. The time you invest in playing will give you a lot of experience. You should read, ask for advice, review your hands, identify your mistakes, and correct them. As I said, the more you play, the more experience you'll gain, and you'll be able to make better decisions: when to check in, when to play aggressively, and when to play tighter.

You have to be patient and wait for the miracle hand or a monster hand AA KK QQ and cross your fingers to stay alive at the Final Table.
