What is your biggest difficulty with the ITM?

When you are close to the prize, what is your biggest difficulty, do you change your style of play?

for me it's easy to get in to the money ,cause I play tight early, the 'problem' is that I start ITM with under 15 BBs, and because the main goal is to play the final table, I personally think that I should adjust my game, still playing tight early game , but start stealing more blinds middle game, if I play top 15% hands early , maybe play top 20-25% hands in the middle game, and on the bubble playing tight again, maybe put pressure on the short stacks from position.

ICM preflop ranges are pain. ICM postflop is a fever dream.

I don't have the balls to GTO bluff donk huge 50% of the time against a midstack I cover on the bubble, so I resort to playing ChipEV but nittier, which is quite suboptimal.

an aside from the above. Fear, anxiety, uncertainty all go away with experience, you know, the more you do something the better you are able to handle similar situations going forward.
Its been said that, "going for it" is your best course of action.. Dont get wildly agro near the button but dont be scared either.

Either you are conservative and guarantee the ITM or you exploit the bubble, since there are other players who are waiting for the ITM and are not going to take risks.

I rarely have the endurance to keep playing for so long to get there. It's great when it's a good day and I have the energy to do it, but more often than not I will lose concentration, misclick or forget that the players I am up against in later stages are generally less fishy than those in the earlier stages. Always something to work on.

my biggest weakness is postflop play ITM. Sure, you see many pushes and weak plays from others. But i noticed, there also exp. players 3betting light and exploiting moneyscared people. Often i play it to save and let value on the table. I guess theres much to learn in postflop play ITM and really shows the difference between amateur and more exp. players.

you must understand that luck plays
a significant role in Texas Hold'em
So once you make the money
if you have a deep stack, apply
maximum pressure and steal blinds
aggressively. If you're short-stacked,
pick your spot and shove all-in boldly
Utimately, how much you win is often
determined by the luck.

Yes, I change my style of play and it's hard for me to be consistent when I get to the ITM, mostly I think it's out of fear of losing everything and that means that my game isn't completely aggressive when needed. salutes

Honestly, when I’m close to the prize, the biggest difficulty for me is the tension and the fear of making a small mistake that could ruin everything I’ve built. Sometimes I become too cautious, and other times it’s the opposite — I get excited and play a hand I really shouldn’t.
I usually try not to change my style too much, but I do adjust the pace a bit: I avoid unnecessary risks and focus more on picking the right moments to attack. But honestly, controlling my nerves is the hardest part for me
