no offense fx, but why would you ever drink wild turkey? Its insanely cheap, ya, but it tastes like tree bark grinded and mixed with dawg piss.

as far as mid-shelf, non boutique Bourbons I think Wild Turkey is one of the better ones, certainly better than Jim Beam, Old Grand Dad, Early Times,etc.

over the past few years I've shifted more to Knob Creek/ Maker's Mark. I drink my liquour neat (no water or ice) and don't do mixed drinks with Whisky at all.

I ran out of Bourbon a few weeks ago and have been drinking Tequila lately. Hardly ever touch Gin, I have a bottle of Bombay Sapphire that is ~ 15 y.o. and still 1/4 there. Vodka only in the occasional Bloody Mary so I am definitely a Whisky/ Tequila guy.

Tree bark/dawg piss; sounds more like Jack Daniels to me. That stuff is awful.

I think FX's tastebuds got confused by all the tranny hookers or something.

However, Wild Turkey American Honey is not too shabby. To say JD is awful is nuts. It's cheap stuff, but good in that category. Though I will say that it is best in mixed drinks like with coke, iced tea, or whiskey sours.

For drinking neat always go farther up the shelf myself.

Had a pretty aewsome dinner with my dad. Then we put up a coffee pot that is bracketed under the dinnerware cabinet. We got it as one of our wedding presents forever ago, so it gave us something to do. Then sat around and had a 12 pack. My dad is really my best friend. Sorry for sounding like a bitch. I think because it is so standard lol. Just when it hit I thought to myself, this is true running good and a lot of people don't notice this type of thing, they only remember KK>AA or flopping a set.

Also, it was a 20bb pot yo! I think 20-50 bb pots are the most important ones right? 200bb pots play themselves most of the time.

I think it's sexy in it's simplicity and it's a change of pace from the bad beats
