Didn't say I think it's flipping a switch, but playing along feeds the machine. Abstaining > contributing, and speaking out > either. Expression of valuable ideas has been successful at generating/sustaining momentum more than once. Look at basically every civil right gained by anyone ever.

Again, agree completely. Lets try to steer the conversation to more impotant, more socially revelant topics. Wonder where that will get us? I'm skeptical, but I'm game to try.

So you got what you wanted after all, then? You got your questions answered about how Americans feel about soccer? Oh, wait, you couln't have since "no one really cares what the US feels about soccer"? So why ask? Just trolling to stir up some animosity? Do us a favor, next time your tempted to ask how Americans feel about soccer, stop yourself, remind yourself a) they hate it, and b) its totally irrevalent here. Questions answered. No need to even ask. But, you had to know this before you even asked in the first place. So, again, what was your real intent?

I specifically asked about how much Americans know of David Beckham. The soccer thing happened afterwards.

I'm quite drunk right now and the words I want to use escape me but I do know that you're acting very typically American about the subject long after it has been discussed and ended.

I appreciate your efforts to remain detached and above such base emotions such as the love and passion of a sport but tbh, these emotions, whether they are for football, baseball or hockey are what make us human. We will never act in a rational nor altustic way. It is the human condition. To give in to these emotions and to live our one life in a way that creates joy beyond your imagination is the true meaning of life.

Football>>football.

I don't care which is which, it is true for every persons opinion and it always will be. I'm cool with that.

It's nearly 6AM here and my flatmate told me to go on chatroulette. Never been on it before but I had a nice conversation with two rather attractive girls from north carolina (which is apparently more hic than it's southern counterpart). I enjoyed the accent and they gave me there numbers without asking, wtf? British accent ftw, I should move to America.

It is very scary. I've seen two cocks already but the nice conversation is enough to outweigh it I think. Haven't seen any boobs yet though. Talking to American girls is pretty cool.

Haha WP Chuck.

I just spoke to a couple Americans. In a war of words instigated by him he tried to say you're speaking my language. He left before I could correct him.

Hahhaah this is some seriously good shit if a little addicting.

Guy holding a sign with his balla hood and balaclava hiding his face. Sign says show boob or cat gets it. I type. "Ok. Kill cat."

He then pretends to hit it off camera. I say "I want to see. show dead cat" he looks confused and switches.

Lols.

FWIW, Im not gonna slag of american sport here. I actually love baseball, basketballs ok, I used to watch it a lot and played it a lot at school. American football is ok watch it mainly in play offs and stuff, and ice hockey is pooh. But whatever, sport is sport and in general I love watching most kinds of sport.

But serioulsy, we wont lose any sleep over you guise not liking football.

ITT, how many people know who David Beckham is? Do they know his name? Why he's famous? How famous is he in America in general and what for? How famous do you think he is outside of America?

I think it might be funny to hear the replies, especially to the last question.

Wow. I thought you were regretting not being here for the discussion on this. Guess not. Oh, and by the way, is Lucky Chippy aware that you consider him a "nobody" (your words, not mine). If "no one" cares how the US feels about soccer.... STOP ASKING.
FAIL!

I fail to see how Lucky is asking for your admiration of football. Hes asked you about football in general and about DB. The discussion would have been interesting, but several americans itt get extremely defensive how anyone outside of usa dare even suggest anything so preposterous as football being adopted in the usa..... oh wait.... baseball was invented from an english game rounders.... american football is a batercised version of rugby (except rugby payers dont walk around in space suits) oh and ice hockey was brought to canada by the brits and europeans etc etc.

Anyways, as I said I actually like american sports and Im open minded enough to accept other sports into my culture. I wuld really love the likes of baseball taking off over here, but doubt it ever will.

man eternal sunshine sure was an emotional rollercoaster

soooo,

PM me what you think really happens in the end.

I just dont dig long movies. I cant sit still long enough.

Not one of the cool guys. But on the upside the wife will still let me sleep in the bed tonight.

I guess Bollywood is out for you. They frequently run about 3 hours, some are longer. That's because every movie has 6 or more songs that last ~ 10 minutes each:

Links to a ton of Bollywood Youtube vids:
Lagaan 3 Hrs 44 minutes

Jodhaa Akhbar 3 hrs 33 minutes

These songs are sung by playback singers who are superstars in their own right.

My favorite playback singer is Shreya Goshal. To me her voice is heaven.

In the video below (Noor e Khuda [light of God]) you first start Shreya's voicing chords to the melody at the 3:55 mark. When she finally starts singing at the 4:30 mark I get goosebumps every time.

Of course there are male playback singers.

one of the best of today's group is Sonu Nigam. Here he sings a duet with Shreya.

Main Agar Kahoon is one of my favorite songs. I already posted my favorite in another post but one of my other 2 or 3 favorites is from the Awesome film Bachna Ae Hasseno:

The truth is all the songs from Bachna Ae Hasseno are awesome. So I will end with one more sublime song from that film:

Bollywood is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
