In the age of solvers and GTOs, is having a study circle still essential, or can the "lone wolf" with digital tools reach the top?

It's no secret that technology has democratized access to knowledge. With solvers like PioSolver or GTO Wizard, any dedicated player can study and improve their game. This raises the question of whether poker has become an individualistic discipline where hard work and the right tools are enough, or if there's still more to learn? 🤔

Hi Dariana , I have only my opinion with no facts at all .... but in chess , concepts used to move in cycles..
what was considered old was refreshed, used with new ideas etc.
I'm pretty sure it's the same for some forms of poker , notably MTTs, perhaps PLO variants as well..... for NLHE cash games I can't say.
but I do remember a poker tv episode where all these young poker wizards were busy doing their new ideas, and "Jesus Fergusen" was
doing his standard tight game and making everyone pay heavily to try their tricks ... he was overwhelming chip leader after only 2 or 3 wins....
I think there's more to learn, relearn, rediscover ...a mixture of all, who knows
