Position is one of the most underrated advantages in poker. Playing more hands in late position and fewer in early position has improved my win rate significantly. How much does position influence your decisions?

It's just statistics, in some situations bluffing in late position is easier than in early position, but in some cases a bluff in early position might be profitable.

Honestly, position changes everything for me.
When I’m in early position, I play much tighter. You’re basically acting “blind” because you don’t know what others will do behind you. One mistake there can cost a lot.
But in late position, especially on the button, it feels like a different game. You get so much information before acting, and that opens the door to stealing blinds, controlling pot size, and even bluffing more confidently.
I wouldn’t say it’s underrated though—I think most solid players know how powerful it is. The difference is in how well they actually use it. That’s where the edge really comes from.

Underrated advantage?

It's literally the first day of the free poker course.

Not that this matters anyways, all of these chatgpt comments full of llmisms and — dashes don't much care for what the contents of the website actually are.

The bigger my stack, the better my position 😉 you have to take several factors into consideration, often the position really doesn't help you.. Just passing by 😉 good luck at the tables!

Yes, at a certain point in the tournament, the number of chips has a much greater power of dominance than position. You can dictate the pace of the round simply because you have a much larger chip stack than the others, regardless of your position.
