Is it discipline, reading people, bankroll management, or just experience? I think mindset and patience make the biggest difference. What do you think defines a good player?

Exploitability of opponents and adaptability to scenarios. Poker is generally won in hands that has no showdown.

For me, isn’t just someone who wins often, but someone who stays consistent, disciplined, and emotionally balanced. They know when to attack and when to fold, and they don’t let ego or tilt take over. A good player keeps learning, adapts to different opponents, and thinks long-term — not just about one hand or one session. It’s the mix of patience, awareness, and strategy that really separates them from the rest.

Дисциплина, понимание игроков, управление банкроллом или просто опыт? Я думаю, что самое главное — это настрой и терпение. Что, по-вашему, определяет хорошего игрока?
A good player has a deep knowledge of rules and strategies, constantly improves them and uses them to make informed decisions, rather than just using maps.
