I don’t judge anyone by their avatar. What really matters is how they play.

No of course not. On way to play, what make hi on chat or on calls and bets.

As for me, an avatar can only speak about an opponent's sense of humor and nothing more))) and so we judge only by their actions at the table

Good morning, everyone. Based on avatars, no. I usually gather information from players who use numbers in their nicknames. For example, I’ve faced players whose nicknames don’t contain any letters at all — they’re completely numerical. Generally speaking (of course, this isn’t a rule or a formula you can rely on 100%), players who use numbers in their nickname tend to be recreational players. They create an account in a hurry, type in anything just to register, and... well, I usually guess correctly that they’re recreational players. As for avatars, I don’t think they really say much about the type of player.

«Іноді я спочатку не ставлюся до дурних аватарів серйозно. Чи впливають аватари на ваше перше враження про гравця?»
I never pay attention to the avatar because I think it's very superficial.

There are some avatars that give a little hint.
For example, players with a Batman Joker like avatar and stats in the 50 ish vpip may give a clear sign of strange minded play, that follows no real strategy.
Sometimes the nationality gives a hint too.
Best hints firmly look what they are doing and which hands they show at showdowns, make notes on this.
These notes are the best source of information.

No, friend, not at all. You should never stop taking someone seriously just because of their avatar, since there are crazy players with crazy attitudes everywhere, both online and in person, but they can still be great players.

I don't judge. I understand that each player has the right to use any image in their avatar. There are many that don't make any sense.

"Sometimes I take silly avatars less seriously at first. Do avatars affect your first impression of a player?"
Opponents' avatars usually don't make any impression on me, except when they are very funny. Recently, I came across one such avatar on GG that really made me laugh. Unfortunately, I didn't take a screenshot.

It depends on what their image or avatar can tell you, but it doesn't influence much.
