Aikido

Is aikido sport,or real aikido,what you think,can you handle knife or gun with your bare hand,can you beat your opponent who is 30 cm higher and have a lot kilogram more then you,can you beat sportsman,athlete using aikido.This is defensive martial arts but is it real or just illusion?

I know about Aikido only thanks to Steven Seagal and his films (mostly films from the 90s). I liked his films and it probably made Aikido more popular.

I guess people don't know really what is aikido,but yeah you are right Steven S. and his movie made popular.

Movies are very different from real life, big time.
But Aikido is a very good martial art.

I have nothing against Aikido, I like all martial arts, but most of all I love Boxing.
