Hey, don't blame Americans for the name, that came from britian, and wasn't isolated just to "soccer" or American "football". It also included rugby for one. It only started to lose its flavor overseas in like the 1980s when Americans actually started using the term widely. Funny how it's looked down upon so much now by the very inventors of the classification.
