Billiards or Golf?

Well I have noticed that there are two sports that poker players usually play and those two sports are Billiards (Pool) or Golf. I have only played golf a couple times and I have to say that it is fun but it is difficult to play. I have been playing billiards in my school for the past two months and I have to say that it is my new favorite hobby I try to play as much as I can. I am probably addicted to pool right now which is the same thing as pretty much every other hobby i've tried >.> poker...Anyways I was just wondering which sport do you guys like to play? If you play both billiards and golf then you have to choose which one you play more or which one you enjoy to play more. Thank you.

I've been playing a lot more billiards recently than golf.

Just got my new McDermott cue last month, it's effing amazing.

Isn't billiards just the broad category of games played with cues? So 9 ball, 8 ball, snooker, 3 pocket, etc

Pool is easier to pick up and play for cheap. Golf is more money and takes time to really get decent at it. But my pick is Golf because youre outdoors, drinking and enjoying the day.

Dont get me wrong, I like playing pool but theres not many around in my area so I havent played much. But then again I havent had the interest and focused more on golf. lol

Golf is my pick.

Pool is golf without all the walking. Knock a ball into a hole with a stick, repeat.

Neither. I've played golf a couple times, but it's way too slow. I'm more into running, soccer, and volleyball.

definitely golf....sometime in the late 90s I became a victim of possession by some sort of golf crazed demon :evil:

all attempts at removing this evil being have failed miserably, and usually resulted in the exorcist himself becoming possessed as well :cheers:

like all forms of billiards too, but being long off the singles market.....never go to bars anymore and haven't played more than a couple of times in many years.....

you never heard of a drink cart

golf cart with snacks and a plethora of ice cold beverages.....and more often than not, it also comes "equipped" with 1 and sometimes 2 really hot girls to serve you

Pool by all means.

Too far of a walk for waitresses and the ice melts in the drinks before she's get them to ya when playing golf. Drink cart girls are always off helping others on the other end of the course, so much for the scenery.....

Edit: just saw Paints post - Those girls never come around often enough. That's why you hire them outright!!!

I do love golf.
But pool is my othe pasttime next to poker.
I enjoy it a "hole" lot more than golf.

I had a shoulder injury that makes swinging a golf club virtually impossible. So until I have surgery pool is my only option. I did enjoy golf when I was able to play though.

Billiards

I also like to shoot pool in my spare time. But, golf I never played the game in my life.

Although I did enjoy a game of bumper pool at Billy Joe's everytime I came home to see my littlest brother play football or basketall.
