Trent Richardson to Colts!!!

The Cleveland Browns have traded Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts for a first round draft pick next year.

I'm pretty much in shock. I just can't imagine what the Browns were thinking. And the Colts just got a lot better, making that draft choice more likely to be a lot closer to the end of the first round than the beginning.

What do you all think?

Cool Trent Richardson and I went to the same high school (at different times of course).

Also not surprising The Browns franchise hasn't made a lot of good decisions since returning to the NFL.

Horrible trade by the Browns. The Colts now have 2 of the top 3 pics from last years draft.

I just watched the Brown's news conference, and they seemed a little (or maybe a lot) defensive in their reaction to the questions.

For what it's worth, the guys on the NFL Network were suggesting that the Browns are trying to package together a set of draft picks that will let them move up in the draft and select a franchise quarterback.

And seriously Cleveland... who are you eying this year in that first round??? Trent is a stud to build around... This move is very perplexing to me from their end. BUT I LOVE IT

Great collge QB but he's never going to be a franchise QB worth trading a RB like Richardson for and even that's assuming he comes out. Right now I think most draft experts think he goes middle 1st to early 2nd round if he does come out.

Awful for the Browns, sweet trade for the Colts. The Browns could end up with a great player but what about now, looks like they're giving up... in week 3.

they might of just trade 2 wins away this season, and I couldn't see them getting more then 4 wins even with him haha, colts gotta like their chances,especially within the next 2 to 5 years

Win for the Colts for right now, it's up to the Browns next year to get a good quality pick with that first round pick.

Colts get a nice player but 1st rd draft picks are huge. And other positions are way more important than the RB in my opinionz

Well considering Richardson was the 3rd overall pick just last year, I'd say he must have been pretty HUGE too.

True but they would have had 2 1st rounders + Richardson had they not done the trade. They've traded a top 5 guy for some middle 1st type player.

You got to be kidding me what is this organization thinking. They just drafted him 2 years ago and now trading for another number one pick. Browns always like to start over.
